Ubatuba Ubatuba offers excellent opportunities for bird photography, especially at hummingbird and tanager feeders which attract a diverse array of species. Upon arrival, we'll spend time photographing birds at the feeders and lodge gardens. The following day, we'll visit Sitio Folia Seca, renowned for its spectacular hummingbird feeders where hundreds of birds flock, along with stunning tanager feeders. On the third day, we'll explore Ninho da Cambacica, another fantastic spot with unique feeder species, returning to the hotel for an evening of photography.
Peruibe Peruibe is home to remarkable feeders frequented by tanagers, woodpeckers, parrots, jays, and toucans. We'll visit areas which are home to endemic species, such as the Red-tailed Parrot, which is ideal for unique photographic opportunities. Night-time also offers the chance to photograph owl species.
Tapirai Tapirai boasts spectacular feeders and photography spots, renowned for its frequent visits by tanagers, parrots, woodpeckers, and toucans, including the endemic Saffron Toucanet.
Dorado Dorado features feeders which attract a variety of easily photographed species, including spectacular hummingbirds.
Ilha Comprida Ilha Comprida, a picturesque lake, offers the opportunity to photograph beautiful water birds, including the Scarlet Ibis.
Sitio Espineiro Sitio Espineiro is a family-owned site with wonderful feeders, perfect for observing hummingbirds, tanagers, toucans, and rare woodpeckers, as well as endemics like the Red-breasted Toucan, Rufous-headed Tanager, and Black-legged Dacnis.
Macuquinho Macuquinho is renowned for its amazing hummingbird feeders amongst others, offering opportunities to photograph stunning birds. Upon arrival, we'll capture images at the feeders. The following day, we'll focus on photographing rare species, including the impressive Bare-throated Bellbird. On the final day, we'll return to the airport.
